Please note: football and cheer are intensive programs. Practice this year will begin on August 1, 2008. Teams practice extensively THROUGHOUT the month of August 2008. For safety reasons -- and to be fair to participants who attend all practices -- WVPW advises families to NOT plan vacation during the month of August 2008. In addition, participants can expect to practice 3 days/week (with 1 additional morning per week -- typically Sunday mornings --devoted to games) during the months of September and October. Finally, should any team do well during the regular season (Sept/Oct), participants should expect significant practice and game time requirements for post-season competition.
